What to expect from this course
Project Governance is the foundation that holds every construction project together — yet it's the domain most professionals learn on the job through trial and error. This 1-day intensive workshop changes that.
The Governance domain addresses the frameworks, structures, and decision-making systems necessary to ensure the project aligns with organizational objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. It includes oversight processes, accountability mechanisms, stakeholder roles, and performance monitoring. Effective governance ensures transparency, ethical conduct, consistent reporting, and controlled decision pathways — leading to better project control and alignment with strategic goals.
Domain I of the PMI-CP exam accounts for 5% of the total exam score, but its impact on your day-to-day leadership is far greater. You'll learn how governance frameworks define authority, accountability, and decision-making across owners, contractors, and subcontractors — so you can navigate complex project structures with clarity and confidence.
Taught in Memphis by Duvoll Education's PMI-credentialed faculty, this workshop is ideal for construction professionals in the Mid-South who want to formalize their governance knowledge, earn PDUs toward certification renewal, or complete one domain at a time on their path to the full PMI-CP.
